SCIENCE ADVICE FOR POLICY
BY EUROPEAN ACADEMIES

The keys to high-quality science advice

In this event, we bring together experts in science advice for an engaging reflection with the audience on finding the keys to high-quality science advice and how to achieve it.

In order to ensure that advice from the SAM is based on the most up-to-date scientific and technical knowledge publicly available, SAPEA follows clear and transparent guidelines. In the process of updating this document, the SAM has engaged in discussions about quality and methods of science advice such as how to define evidence, what is research excellence today, and the key role of knowledge brokers. In this event, we bring together experts in science advice for an engaging reflection with the audience on finding the keys to high-quality science advice and how to achieve it.
